I began my professional career in 2000, initially focusing on engineering, oil and gas and large-scale energy projects. Over more than two decades of professional activity, I have held responsibilities at senior engineering, project management, executive management and senior corporate management levels.
My professional background was initially developed in the fields of oil & gas, energy, industrial projects and infrastructure. Over the years, I expanded my activities into international trading, finance, insurance, logistics, technology, digital economy, precious metals, automotive, industrial equipment and large-scale project management.
Since 2000, a significant part of my professional career has been dedicated to the oil & gas and energy sectors.
A major part of my professional experience has involved the management of large-scale, multidisciplinary projects. My approach integrates engineering, procurement, logistics, finance, insurance, contract management, execution and operations into a unified project structure, ensuring that technical, commercial and financial activities are coordinated rather than managed as isolated functions.
Through my involvement in oil, gas and industrial projects, I have also developed extensive experience in project insurance, commercial insurance and risk management. I consider insurance not simply as a financial product, but as an essential component of risk management for major industrial and commercial projects.
My professional activities have also expanded into finance and project financing. I have worked on the development and coordination of financial and commercial structures involving investors, financial institutions, buyers, sellers and project operators, including payment structures, financial flows, investment structures and commercial risk management.
Another important area of my commercial experience is the trading, sourcing, purchase, sale and advisory activities related to gold, jewellery and precious metals, including supply-chain development, refinery and supplier relations, commercial negotiations, international transactions and logistics.
With the development of the digital economy, I expanded my activities into cryptocurrencies, digital assets and blockchain. Technology and digital commerce have also become important areas of my work. My approach is that an e-commerce platform should be more than an online store: it should function as an integrated commercial infrastructure connecting sourcing, sales, payments, logistics and buyer-seller relationships within one digital ecosystem.
My activities in the automotive sector include vehicle trading, import and export, light and heavy commercial vehicles, spare parts and international vehicle sourcing. I have also been active in the trade of industrial machinery and equipment, as well as international commodity trading covering agricultural products, food products, industrial raw materials and chemical products.
Naghi Shahabnia holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering – Petroleum Refining from Gachsaran University of Petroleum, Iran. He has also pursued Master's studies in Chemical Engineering at Üsküdar University, Türkiye. Alongside his executive and commercial activities, he has maintained an interest in research related to oil & gas exploration, e-commerce and artificial intelligence in industries.
Throughout my professional career, I have established and developed companies in different countries with the objective of creating an international corporate and investment structure. This structure includes companies operating across markets such as Türkiye, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Iran.
FGG Holding represents the central holding structure of this international organization, bringing together activities in energy, oil and gas, precious metals, international trading, technology, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, automotive, shipbuilding, real estate, logistics and industrial projects.
More than two decades of experience in engineering, project management and international business have taught me one fundamental principle: a successful international business cannot depend on expertise in only one sector. Engineering, finance, technology, trading, logistics, human resources and project management must work together within one strategic structure.
Based on this philosophy, my objective is to develop FGG Holding not simply as a group of companies, but as an international business and investment platform connecting companies, investors, manufacturers, suppliers and strategic partners across different markets. Our objective is not merely to identify a commercial opportunity, but to have the capability, whenever required, to manage the entire process — from feasibility and financing to engineering, procurement, logistics, execution, trading and final delivery.
My vision for FGG Holding is to build a global holding structure that removes the traditional boundaries between engineering, investment, technology and international trade, transforming opportunities across different markets into real, sustainable and executable projects. Our goal is not simply to build a large company; our goal is to build a reliable, sustainable and value-creating international business ecosystem.
